Xion Community

Well. It would be nice if this nifty you Xion could automatcally download podcast releases from our favorit podcasts.

Also, the RSS bit would be neat beacuse you could subscibe to music site feeds and news!
RSS would also be nice for Xion because you would be able to let the player show the user new updates and releases!

These would be great components to start off on!

Yes these sound like great ideas for components. I hope to release the Component SDK within the next couple of weeks.

I'm sure we will see some great community Components.

I have a couple of Components in mind that I plan to develop myself as well, however its always amazing to see what the community comes up with

Will it be available through Visual Studio 6, and .Net?

Initially it will be a c++ example written in .net/2003.

It is basically a framework to allow you to write components.

In the future I will allow other applications to control Xion through some sort of COM interface, or Windows messaging interface.
