Initial Interface Placement

The IT guys at work 'temporarily' removed my second monitor, and that's where my Xion interface normally lives. So after starting my computer, Xion came up way off to the right of my 'current' screen. I couldn't figure any way to move it back into visible range.
Would it be possible to have some sort of 'sanity check' on the position of the interface when first starting up Xion? Maybe if the entire interface is outside the current screen, automatically move it to somewhere visible. Or if there's some legitimate reason to run that way, maybe display a dialog on the current screen asking if the user wants to move the interface somewhere visible.
Actually, I suppose it would be better to check if some portion of the 'moveable' layer(s) is visible, not just any part of the interface. Having a drop shadow on the edge of the current screen still wouldn't help much.
Thanks.
