Currently the player only supports them when one of its windows has focus. And also the play/pause media button is not supported. That is it acts as a pause only button on my logitech media keyboard

Hi Eugene2k,

Actually it supports Globabl Hotkey when the player doesn't have focus, but you will have to configure and enable them first. Which key combinations are you trying to bind?

I've heard reports of some keyboards having troubles so I will have to see if a friend can lend me a logitech in order to test this. Is it a particular model? Do you have the drivers installed for it?

Cliff :)

I just noticed that too :)

Still the support for a global play/pause toggle button would be nice :)

And I guess the following should go into the bug reports section...

Weird behaviour on Xion's part: the player recognises all the media buttons on my media keyboard without me having to configure them (albeit only when in focus), however that only works until I press one of them. The buttons stop working after one of them is pressed and until I restart the player.

A global Pause/Play toggle would be the pause button ;) It acts as a toggle when pressed :)

As to the other, yes please add that to the bug forum, thanks! :)

Cliff :)

The media keys on my wireless media keyboard don't seem to work with Xion at all. But then again... it's by a company named "mi" that I've never heard of before. :)

I knew I should have checked that first!

P.S. Added the bug to the bugs section :)
