another anti-alias method?

Is there a way to add some more anti-aliassing method for bigger rounded fonts? They really look rather jaggy (see msc).
another idea for text layers: is it possible to add some stroke feature? I did some workaround (GaMaG) but it took me 16 additional text layers for track and time (which means a lot of additional CPU load)
