.wav playback.

Really doesn't like .wav files that much. I know most people won't really play them but I occasionally have to being a producer and all. When they first open, there's about a 50% chance that they will emit very loud pops and cracks which certainly fook up my ears with headphones. However, simply pausing or stopping the file and resuming playback always solves it. Only happens when they're first loaded. Oh and that's on XP. Codec problem? Nah I don't think so. The fact you can solve it by pausing and resuming cancels that out. Never had problems with wav files before.

Peace, Lance

Codec/PC issue. I've been playing WAV rips from a game for like 3 days now. They work perfectly.

Something's up with your card. Codec is unlikely, because everyone has the same Microsoft PCM codec.
