also perhaps move the margin for the right column over to the left a bit more, the source/audio info is never really going to stretch more than it is atm but yet album/comment etc on the tag info is cut off, yea it looks good in the center but wouldnt look out of place if the left column was made to fit the contents and leave the right for more characters

wmp 11 has the option of the time display being on the top like that, so I guess it didnt look very weird to me.

esp in the case of a table, whereas to have a column fit its contents looks better than a huge gap and the gap not big enough on the other side
also space margin from column start to text start is different on both also so ther goes the symmetry
if you had the same margin on the right this reduces the available space even further, im sure others would have a similar view on the info table
the songticker text looks a little odd with the drop shadow effect, perhaps shift the shadow to the left a pixel, its making my eyes go wonky just looking at it while typing this

I can see why you moved them to the left more so more chars could be fitted in, but it makes more sense to restrict the column width if the content is never going to occupy more than half of it and allow the bigger section which does need it to have the space for the long text results, it certainly wouldnt look out of place and would also not chop off half of the very results your displaying
